It’s like sleeping in a Moore-Bath every night

The key component in the Organic Comforters and Mattress Toppers of Gaiaheartworkz is the Peat-fiber. Gaiaheartworkz has developed Organic Comforters and Mattress Toppers with Peat-fiber as a way to provide people with Peat-fiber’s health benefits. These bedding products fully consist of certified organic materials and have contemporary designs.

The used Peat-fiber originates from Scandinavia and is derived from Eriophorum Vaginatum, also known as “sheated cotton grass,” “tussock cotton grass” (US) or “hare’s cotton grass” (EU). The cotton grass grows on bogs in peat moors. It comes up every year and dies out. Owing to the acidic and anaerobic nature of the bog, the stem and root of the plant do not decompose totally but deteriorate into the fiber. This process has been going on for hundreds and even thousands of years. The peat moors contain trees, bushes and even entire ancient forests. The physical components and life forces of the peat have been conserved in a pristine manner because it has been shielded from the increasing radiation emissions of the last centuries.

The health-benevolent qualities of the organic substances from the moors have been known for thousands of years in England, Ireland and Europe, and these substances have been used therapeutically for many illnesses and ailments. Hence, the moor-baths and skincare-moor products created by Dr. Hauschka.

Physical Properties of Peat Fiber

1. High content of silicic acid (strong affinity to light and cosmic rays and therefore absorbs them);

2. Humic substances. Human skin also contains relatively large amounts of silicic acid. Light with especially short wavelengths damages proteins and thus cells. Human skin transforms short-wave into long-wave radiation with the help of endogenous melanin. Melanin is the skin pigment (as in freckles). The medicinal effect is mainly attributed to the humic substances (fulvic acid and humic acid);

3. Peat acts aseptically (antibacterial, antiviral, fungicidal).

4. Lignin is responsible for enhanced flame retardancy (30 percent less than cotton).

The Key-Benefits of Peat-fiber Products

The physical and life-force properties of Peat-fiber generate health-benevolence due to the cocooning effect enhancing & solidifying your sense of being well-centered, at ease, protected, empowered and helps you sleep better so you wake up more re-invigorated. People thus become more harmonious, less stressed or hyperactive, and are supported in their health and healing.

Peat-fiber products thus can:

• Provide warmth to our body & life forces thereby improving our overall blood-circulation and heart-beat;

• Protect our skin, sensory nervous system & thus our soul;

• Protect & reinvigorate our life forces;

• Protect us against EMF & Electric radiation (it transforms short wave radiation into benevolent long waves, thus also a form of generating warmth);

• Work anti-inflammatory, support healing in rheumatic diseases & in joint inflammation & promote fertility;

• Absorb moisture, has a low-level flammability and is light-weight;

• Enable people to sleep better and wake up more re-invigorated

Matt's Thoughts: The quest for the ultimate sleep setup is never-ending for me. I've tried so many different combinations of essential oil diffusers, negative ion generators, energy devices, beds, and bedding. For years I used a bamboo comforter. It was a night and day difference switching to peat moss. My sleep has gone to the next level since I introduced these blankets.
